With a demonstrated commitment to continued professional development, I have completed certifications such as, ITIL Foundation V3, Australian Computer Society Certified Professional, Certificates in Technical Support and Network Management and PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner. In support of my qualifications, I possess 14 years of invaluable experience working in information technology positions and confident that I will deliver on the high levels of support required of the role of Project Manager, Technology.
A self-motivated, results-orientated professional, I take responsibility for achieving outcomes within my position as Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Project Manager with New South Wales Government, Land and Property Management division. My accomplishments within this position have been, meeting targets, mentoring and training staff, leading by example, and devising ways to improve systems and procedures. Proving my strong project management capabilities, I have managed each project with the relevant documentation and processes to ensure accurate and timely completion. In order to achieve this, I utilise, Project Controls Registers (Risk, Issues, Assumptions, Decisions, Changes), Financial tracking sheets, Project Status Reports, schedules, business benefits register, Request for Quotation and Tender documentation and change communication plans.

In working across major projects and programmes of work, I have dealt extensively with stakeholders from frontline service delivery staff through to senior executives, as well as external stakeholders such as vendors including in the process of tender negotiation and product evaluation.

Demonstrating my leadership capabilities within my position at Land and Property Management, I recently dealt with a situation where a key contractor was unable to adequately lead the program of work and as such, there was a risk of not meeting the service level agreement with the stakeholders of the backup review project. Identifying our potential exposure, I immediately performed a comprehensive review of the plan, schedule and collateral that was to be used in the workshops. With a focus on customer solution, I obtained agreement from the sponsor to work through the program particulars to ensure we had the correct approach within learning areas of the workshops and subsequent generation of the tired recovery service catalogue and report outcomes. In addition, I took the initiative to rewrite the stakeholder presentation, condensing originally a 35-page slide deck into a seven-page presentation and interactive discussion session. The outcome of my ability to deliver a high level of performance was the project was able to deliver the 20 workshops in a concise and succinct manner whilst complying with the scope and expectations of the stakeholders.
An open and effective communicator, I am driven to provide clear information to my colleagues about completing deadlines and time availability. My organised approach in any environment makes me accessible to colleagues and assists me to monitor personal workload deadlines. In addition to my experience and personal qualities, I have a solid educational foundation and a passion for maintaining efficient and profitable operations. Working with both staff and vendors at all levels during my tenure at Transport for New South Wales; I provided key updates on the Opal rollout to the Deputy Director General. Coordination of meetings with key managers to develop the presentations’ utilising Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio, I received high accolades for this rollout including it becoming the new format for monthly updates to the Deputy Director General.
With a natural ability to establish rapport with a diverse range of clients, I have provided a service that is both personalised and respectful within my position at Land and Property Management. Throughout my tenure as ICT Project Manager, I demonstrate my ability to communicate both verbally and written with clients and in every interaction confirm my commitment to the achievement of quality customer service.

Instrumental in the development of resourced plan and process, I implemented hourly conference call updates to affected stakeholders and a media briefing pack for the Minister. The successful outcome of my initiatives was that I was influential in the two and a half days turnaround to rectify the problem across a large geographical area of New South Wales.

Faculty Network Migration Project – University of Wollongong
Significant planning effort was required to align contractors, university staff to undertake the testing, and deployment of 3000 computers and 2000 new Cisco Telephone handsets over to the new network. Management consultation and change communication planning was also required to ensure all stakeholders were aware of the impending changes, how to ask for help if issues arose and what project support was available after each deployment.
Opal Card Rollout Transport for New South Wales – Mobile Solution
Responsible for managing the project schedule and project controls to facilitate the delivery of rolling out opal across 2,150+ buses across the greater Sydney metro area. This involved working with cross-functional teams within Transport for NSW State Transit and the vendor (Pearl Consortium) using local and international resources within a complex structure to deliver the program of work.
With a highlighted career in the management and delivery of complex projects, I have demonstrated my capabilities to successfully scope and deliver on projects ranging from $10,000.00 to $1,000,000 and above. Within my current portfolio at Land and Property Management, I am accountable for projects in excess of $2,000,000, which is almost half of the Information Technology Capital Works budget. Through my positive attitude towards stakeholder results, my success in project management and delivery are a testament to the collaborations with exceptional teams. Working in order to scope projects with stakeholders, sponsors, business analysts and cross functional teams, I have been instrumental in facilitating workshops of up to 20 people to drive and achieve business objectives as demonstrated in my role at Transport for NSW when setting up the governance and agendas for the Rail Operations Planning team.
As demonstrated within my current role at Land and Property Management, I am influential in the continual review and improvements of project management and delivery to ensure that they are current, functional, and cost-effective. Through the development and implementation of key operational polices, standard operation procedures and processes for the department, I have ensured that all documentation is up‑to‑date and relevant.
