Once the train set has arrived at the depot, it is my responsibility to monitor the strict schedule of four day per maintenance division to adhere to the service level agreements.
On this occasion, I identified that there was a need for variation work to be completed in ensuring the safety and productivity of this train set. Through the fault identification, I immediately coordinated a meeting of client and engineers to devise an action plan. Working in collaboration with all stakeholders, I was successful in the approval of time extensions to complete the variation project including all the resources available to meet the new agreed delivery. By ensuring planning processes are implemented so long term depot issues are addressed as well as short term urgent deliverables are met, I was acknowledged for my strengths in production planning in critical environments and successful in my twenty-year career in this scheduling position.

After identifying further faults with the engineer’s guidance, I then drove the negotiation process to result in mutually agreeable contract terms.
