Having completed my Bachelor of Education – Primary in 2011 via University of Wollongong, I am qualified to teach Kindergarten through to Year 6. Possessing the demonstrated ability in excellent classroom practice, ensuring that each student is provided with opportunities to achieve their potential in becoming competent in literacy and numeracy. I have attended multiple Professional Development courses that continue my advancement of critical new strategies and curriculums, such as Focus on Reading Levels 1 and 2 and a Certificate of Learning Difficulties. From these development sessions, I have proven my dedication as an educator, whose unwavering commitment to education, excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and hands-on experience; have ensured I have attained the necessary skills, experience and qualifications to meet the requirements of the Oyster Bay Public School mission.

Experience in teaching years of K-6 including composite classes thought out my three years as a teacher within Chester Hill North Public school. Having the opportunity to work across multiple years levels and encourage development through the learning stages has been a great expansion on my experience. As a qualified K-6 teacher, I am enthusiastic in the opportunity to work within a school environment that boasts curriculum differentiation. The range of strategies supported within Chester Hill North Public School has heightened my demonstrated success within the classrooms of K-6. Currently in the classroom, I have the ability to enhance the quality of my own teaching techniques through the provision of curriculum differentiation. During my role at Chester Hill North Public School, I currently assist students of varying stages and capabilities in my class with reading levels differentiating from level ten through to level twenty-eight. This dynamic environment not only highlights my own teaching capabilities but more importantly the inclusive and personalised education students receive. Confirmed in my teaching success over four years of teaching, I have proven my ability to incorporate technology and its advantages into everyday learning.

As a qualified teacher at Chester Hill North Public School. I hold lead responsibility of the junior and senior softball teams. My experience clearly demonstrates my ability to develop effective scope and sequence in accordance with the Department of Education and Communities (DEC) New South Wales and whole school priorities. Throughout my career, I have organised, facilitated and contributed to a variety of programs that have provided students with opportunities to participate and become engaged within the classroom.

Influential in the success of school sporting program as a whole school initiative. For the past 3 years, I have enthusiastically assisted in the implementation of various sporting programs. This entailed, newsletter promotions, distribution of class materials to conduct the promotion of in-house events, recording students’ achievements, liaising with staff in regard to students’ progress, online data tracking and organisation of applicable certificates
Embracing students’ passion for athletics, I have successfully coached and mentored relay teams encouraging all students to develop on their health and wellbeing development. I provided support in coordination of events through newsletter promotions, and recording of students’ achievements for certificate production

Whole school events and extra-curricular activities that I have organised were thoroughly enjoyed by students and praised by colleagues, parents and community members.
